Introducing Gerardo R. Bucio: A Budding Designer with a Unique Vision.
Gerardo R. Bucio arrived in the United States in year 2000, bringing with him the vibrant spirit of his native Uruapan, Michoacán, Mexico, this region, globally recognized and famed for its breathtaking monarch butterfly sanctuary, served as an early backdrop to Gerardo's innate creativity.
From a young age, Gerardo was immersed in a world of artistic expression, demonstrating a keen fascination for handicrafts and the innovative potential of recycled materials in his school projects. With the early encouragement of his mother, he began crafting whimsical outfits and accessories for friends and family, nurturing a burgeoning passion for design. His creative wellspring draws inspiration from the dynamic energy of international fashion runways and the captivating narratives found within Japanese animation.
Developing as an empirical designer, Gerardo's journey in the United States included a 15-year tenure as a dental assistant. However, his dedication to design remained unwavering, manifesting in the creation of striking pieces for friends within the entertainment industry during his personal time. His involvement with the Highlight Concepts Fashion Show for the past five years as a dedicated staff member further solidified his connection to the world of fashion. This deep immersion ultimately fueled his decision to launch his debut collection as a designer.
Currently, Gerardo dedicates his creative energy to crafting distinctive apparel and accessories, with a strong emphasis on environmental sustainability. He embraces the inspiring challenge of material repurposing, transforming discarded items into fresh and aesthetically compelling creations, all while actively contributing to ecological consciousness.

Born and raised in Gandhinagar, the capital of Gujarat in India, Nikki has been designing and creating clothing jewelry handbags the home decor since she was a little girl. Her artistic talent knows no bounds. After studying fashion and business, she moved to the US but her immigration status put a significant pause on her plans.
She wanted to rejuvenate the dying handmade and sustainable art, along with the artisans that create it, and counter the mass-produced clothing that is becoming a norm in the fashion industry. Nikki persisted and is now getting ready to offer her brand Rustic Passport to connoisseurs with the slow fashion that is handmade and sustainable, with biodegradable materials and natural and sustainable dyes. Even the buttons she uses are made of wooden or coconut shells. Her fashion line reflects her beliefs in conscious choices and fair trade, offering one size fits most, reversible, and gender-neutral designs. Nikki lives in Durham with her husband and a 10-year-old boy. Her talents extend beyond fashion - she is an excellent cook, a great interior designer, and a meditation teacher for a decade. Nikki strongly believes that it is up to us, individual citizens, to serve our communities with the best that we have.

Venancio Tadeo: A Fashion Journey Venancio Tadeo, originally from the Philippines, embarked on a remarkable journey to the United States in 1978. Armed with little more than a dream of becoming a fashion designer, he set his sights on Hollywood. After a few years in the West, Tadeo felt a strong pull to explore the fashion industry further. Through his travels across the country, he gained invaluable experience and inspiration, immersing himself in different fashion cultures and learning directly from industry professionals. Tadeo's journey culminated in designing and showcasing his collections at prestigious fashion shows in Los Angeles, Dallas, Montreal, New York, Miami, and Atlanta. This recognition cemented his status as an internationally acclaimed designer. Now based in the fashion-forward Charlotte area, Tadeo continues to make his mark. Known for his authentic, creative, and extravagant designs, he has a reputation for blending elegance with innovation. Tadeo's work has been prominently featured at the Highlight Concepts Fashion Shows in Raleigh, North Carolina, from 2021 to 2025. His exclusive collections have captivated audiences and solidified his position as a leading figure in the fashion industry.
